Ideal 2D Design

My ideal 2D design would be a work that has both content and function. These traits would make an ideal design because it would, one portray an idea but that idea could also be useful. The functional content of the design would serve as the best combination of traits giving the piece some background as well as a functional purpose. Something like the Pepsi logo would be an example, its function is alerting people that Pepsi is being sold and its content is that the Pepsi company makes soda. That is my ideal 2D design.
